"When Scott and I decided to remodel 2 years ago on our 30-year-old home, Adam Josef and Crossroads Construction came highly recommended not only from our designer, but our architect.

When those two learned the difficulty and scope of the job, they looked at each other and said, “ it’s got to be Adam”, and I remember it well. Once the project started we knew why he was chosen, with his passion for perfection, we knew we were in good hands.

We had a partial remodel upstairs several years ago from another construction team, and not only was it a total disaster, the realization of what was done improperly on the job came to light when we saw the quality of Adam’s attention to detail. His relationships with his workers, his constant communication with us, as well as showing up each day to make sure the work was up to the Crossroads standards really stood out to us.

Although there were too many standout moments to mention, I remember in particular when he found water damage inside our master walls, and knowing it would add more time to the job for him, it could have been just as easy to sheetrock over it and move on. Every tiny detail that Adam saw as a future problem for us if not repaired was explained in detail, then corrected with his experienced and dedicated team. We have a beautiful home now and would highly recommend Adam. Perfection is the name of his game."

"Adam was recommended to us by another general contractor, and we feel very lucky to have found him. He was incredibly easy to work with and did an exceptional job of communicating with us throughout our project. Adam had a thorough grasp of not only the big picture but also the tiniest details. He was honest and straightforward in every aspect of his dealings with us. We learned to trust him completely.

One of the most important things Adam did was to recruit Cusimano Architects for our project, something we probably couldn’t have managed without him. The architects’ guidance streamlined planning and brought cohesion to our project. Along with Adam’s expertise, this resulted in a finished product that well exceeds our expectations.

For better or worse, we opted to stay in our house during the project, so we especially appreciated Adam’s and his subcontractors’ professionalism and respectful treatment of us and our property. One of the most memorable aspects of the project was Adam’s insistence on maintaining a clean construction site. We can’t recall a single construction-related mishap: no tires punctured by nails left in our driveway or anything of the sort.

All in all, our home remodeling experience was pretty much perfect. And Adam has been surprisingly helpful and responsive after completion. For example, he checked on our house the day after Hurricane Beryl—without being asked to do so. We highly, wholeheartedly recommend him."

Our project consisted of new exterior and interior paint; new electrical fixtures for the first floor and primary suite; new counters, hardware, some appliances, bathroom tile, and plumbing fixtures; and new hardwoods and wallpaper in the primary.
